Associate
Victoria joined the team as an Associate in August 2025, bringing with her a wealth of legal experience from both the UK and New Zealand. She began her legal career in the UK, where she was admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales in 2004 where she practised until relocating to New Zealand in 2015.
After settling in Christchurch, Victoria joined a local law firm in 2016 and began the process of requalifying in New Zealand following the birth of her daughter in 2017. She was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in December 2022.
Victoria has extensive expertise across a broad range of legal areas, including residential and commercial property, trusts, occupational right agreements, leases, unit titles, subdivisions, estates, wills, and business sales and purchases. Her deep knowledge of conveyancing has naturally led her to a leadership role within the team, where she is passionate about mentoring others and sharing her expertise. Her approach is practical and solutions-focused, with a strong emphasis on ensuring clients feel supported and confident throughout their legal journey.
Outside of work, Victoria enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and their family dog. She loves being by the sea, skiing, playing water sports, doing Pilates and yoga, and socialising with friends.
Victoria is also a great community person! She gives her time to several boards and committees, including the Canterbury Men’s Centre, Coastguard Sumner, Naval Point Lyttelton, Melanoma New Zealand’s Patient Committee, and is on her daughter’s school board. As someone personally affected by Melanoma, she is a passionate advocate for improved access to treatment and clinical trials in New Zealand. Through her work with Patient Voice Aotearoa and Melanoma New Zealand, she actively supports awareness and advocates for better outcomes for those impacted by Melanoma.
