Solicitor
Beth joined Godfreys Law in October 2025. Following her graduation from University of Canterbury in 2017, Beth progressed her legal career in England where she worked in a range of law firms in Surrey, just south of London. Whilst in England, Beth completed the Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme and was subsequently admitted as a Solicitor for England and Wales in 2020. She practised as a Solicitor for four years in England before returning to New Zealand to join Godfreys Law.
Beth has a wealth of experience in private client matters and specialises in Estate Administration, Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Trusts. Beth’s personable and down to earth nature allows her to support clients through difficult times, especially for those experiencing the loss of close family members. Beth provides a service where clients feel at ease, whilst also providing them with a comprehensive legal service.
Beth is greatly enjoying being back in Canterbury and can often be heard raving about how good New Zealand coffee is compared to the rest of the world. When she is out of the office, Beth enjoys spending time with her family on their Ellesmere farm, or else can be found in the port hills running the trails with her Labrador, Maui.
