About Mikayla

Mikayla joined Godfreys Law in August 2024 as a Law Clerk. Mikayla is in her final year of studies at the University of Canterbury studying a Bachelor of Laws. 

Mikayla chose to study law as she saw a career focused around helping people, which is a strong value of hers. Mikayla’s studies have drawn her towards the areas of Commercial, Contract, and Litigation, although she is eager to be immersed across all fields. Around the office you’ll see Mikayla assisting the team wherever required, through research, drafting documents, and organising file and meeting preparation.

Mikayla will always find the time to help those around her, lending her time for the Citizens Advice Bureau and assisting Director Raajan in her voluntary administrative role for Life Education Trust Canterbury. When not catching up on lectures or finishing assignments, Mikayla loves being involved in anything that will get her outdoors, whether it be sports (netball, volleyball and surfing), camping, or attending concerts and festivals with her friends.
